Situated near to the centre of the quiet Pennine town of Todmorden, on the borders of West Yorkshire, Lancashire and Greater Manchester, Waterside Lodge offers a tranquil and safe environment for our elderly residents to live in peace and dignity.
Our team of trained, friendly staff respects the independence of our residents and actively encourages and facilitates this. With trips, live entertainment, family involvement, community links and an abundance of on-site services, our residents have a wealth of options available to them.
There are five spacious lounge areas where residents can relax, equipped with TV, video and radio. It is our aim to promote the independence and quality of life of our residents and therefore daily activities are planned for their enjoyment.
We have an excellent relationship with the local health centre and district nurses visit the home on a daily basis. Food is home-made by our qualified kitchen team. We cater to special diets if required and ensure the menu changes regularly and offers variety, as well as favourites.
With our own 7 seater mini-bus, outings are a pleasure and we organise these regularly. In particular, the unique and quirky town of Hebden Bridge is only a few kilometres down the road, and at the same distance in the other direction is the well-known Hollingworth Lake – both these locations are regular destinations for our outings. Whilst at home though, our residents can enjoy the wonderful sensory garden, grounds and communal lounges, as well as the company of friendly, trained staff.
We look forward to making you feel welcome and are happy for visitors to come whenever they like, pets too are very welcome on visits.
